Introduction

Baiscope is a student project built for learning and demonstration purposes. The website does not collect personal data from visitors. Movie information displayed on the site is retrieved from the public OMDb API.

Data We Collect

No accounts or user registration.
No login system or server-side user profiles.
No user tracking or analytics are enabled by default.
No cookies are set by the app except browser-default cookies (session cookies handled by the browser).

Third-Party Services

Baiscope uses the OMDb API to fetch movie metadata (titles, posters, ratings). No personal user data is shared with OMDb as part of normal site usage.

Favourites Feature

The favourites feature stores data locally in your browser using localStorage. Favourites remain on your device and are not sent to or stored on any external server.
